By submitting this application and, if accepted, participating in this retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Purpose and Scope
This retreat is designed as an immersive, experiential container focused on embodied awareness, reflection, and personal insight. While many participants find the experience meaningful or clarifying, no specific outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Lola may offer guidance, reflective prompts, somatic practices, or experiential invitations during the retreat. Participation in all activities is voluntary, and you are responsible for honoring your own limits at all times.
This retreat is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or therapy, and no diagnosis or treatment of any condition is provided.
Personal Responsibility and Health Disclosure
By participating, you affirm that you are physically, mentally, and emotionally able to engage in a retreat environment that may include group activities, movement, time in nature, and extended periods of reflection.
You agree to disclose, confidentially and truthfully, any relevant health conditions, medications, psychological considerations, or substance use that may affect your participation or safety. You agree to promptly notify the retreat organizers in writing of any material change in your health status prior to or during the retreat.
You acknowledge that participation is undertaken at your own risk, and you accept full responsibility for your physical, emotional, and psychological well-being during and after the retreat.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in this retreat and any related activities (“Participant Activities”), you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to risks related to travel, lodging, movement, group activities, environmental conditions, and emotional experiences.
You hereby release, waive, and discharge PFI, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, facilitators, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability for personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss, including wrongful death, arising out of or related to your participation, whether occurring before, during, or after the retreat.
This release applies to claims brought by you or on your behalf by family members, heirs, estates, or assigns.
Conduct and Safety
You agree to conduct yourself in a manner that respects the safety, dignity, and experience of all participants and staff.
Activities deemed unsafe, reckless, or outside the scope of the retreat are prohibited. These may include, but are not limited to, climbing trees or rocks, approaching wildlife, leaving designated areas, or engaging in behavior that presents a risk to yourself or others.
Disruptive behavior, including hostility, harassment, or repeated disregard for group agreements, may result in removal from the retreat at the sole discretion of the organizers. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
If a participant presents an immediate risk to themselves or others, the organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action to ensure safety, including removal from the retreat environment.
Early Departure
If you choose to leave the retreat early for any reason, you acknowledge that no refunds or reimbursements will be provided, and the organizers bear no responsibility for travel or accommodation arrangements related to early departure.
Property and Materials
All retreat materials, ceremonial items, and tools remain the property of PFI unless explicitly stated otherwise. Participants agree not to remove any retreat property without permission.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. PFI is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during or after the retreat.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your actions during the retreat, including injury to others or damage to property.
Privacy
All personal information shared in the application process or during the retreat is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or to resolve a dispute.
Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding participation in the retreat. No oral or written representations outside of this document are binding. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by all parties.
By completing this application, you affirm that the information you have provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
You acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined above, including policies related to payment, cancellation, participation, and assumption of risk.
